The Missouri State Highway Patrol Criminal Justice Information Services Division is the state’s central repository for criminal-history information. Its Missouri Automated Criminal History Site—MACHS—provides name-based criminal-history searches and fingerprint-registration services.

MSHP currently lists a $15 fee per request for a name-based search, plus the applicable online convenience fee. The search uses personal identifiers and results are considered a possible match.
MSHP says the name-based open-record result can include convictions, arrests less than 30 days old, prosecutor-filed charges awaiting final court disposition and a suspended imposition of sentence during the probation period.
