What to include in the request

The Sheriff’s current jail-mail page routes non-legal and non-commercial correspondence through JailATM. The original physical mail sent to the scanning address is processed electronically for the inmate and then destroyed, so do not send irreplaceable originals.

• The inmate name and ID number must be clearly shown.
• Non-legal personal mail is scanned and delivered electronically.
• The original mailed item is destroyed after processing.
• Electronic messages and picture attachments can also be sent through the listed JailATM service.
• Legal and commercial mail should continue to be sent directly to the jail facility.
