Do not drive to the jail before scheduling
The official visitation page currently lists regular visiting periods Monday through Saturday, plus additional evening slots on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Visits are conducted by video.

General correspondence is scanned
The communications page currently directs ordinary physical mail to a processing center in Longview, Texas, where the mail is scanned for electronic delivery to the inmate.
The official rules include page, photograph, addressing and return-address requirements. Processed physical contents are destroyed after scanning, so do not mail irreplaceable originals.
Do not send it through the general scanning address
Horry County specifically separates legal and medical mail from general scanned correspondence. Follow the facility’s legal/medical mail route instead of sending sensitive documents to the ordinary processing center.
