Mohave Recent Arrests: Mugshots, Bookings & Records

Independent Arizona public-record guide: USA-Arrests.org is not the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office, Mohave County Adult Detention Facility, Mohave County Superior Court, Arizona Judicial Branch, Arizona Department of Corrections, Rehabilitation & Reentry, or any police department. This website does not host a live inmate roster or issue criminal-history reports.

An arrest is not a conviction. A person’s inclusion in an inmate list, police report or arrest announcement does not establish guilt. Charges, bail conditions, custody status and court outcomes must be verified with the responsible agency.

The essential Mohave County update

Where To Find Mohave County Recent Arrests in 2026

The Mohave County Sheriff’s Office has a page labeled Inmate Search, but that page now explains that the interactive search tool has been turned off to comply with new legal requirements and recent court rulings.

Instead of offering a live name-search application, the Sheriff directs people to its Press Release page, where inmate lists are published. The county’s notice references the court ruling in Brian Houston v. Maricopa County, Arizona.

Do not trust sites promising a live official Mohave County mugshot or booking search.

Some private jail directories still claim that a public search form is available. The current county notice expressly says the Sheriff has disabled its inmate-search tool. An unofficial arrest database may contain outdated, incomplete or misidentified information. Start with the county’s published list and call the jail for up-to-date custody questions.

02

How to use the current official resource

How To Check Mohave County Inmate Lists and Recent Jail Bookings

The public list is not equivalent to the former searchable database. A published inmate list may help establish that a name appeared on a particular dated snapshot, but it should not be treated as a complete record of arrests, bookings, mugshots, charges, housing assignments or releases.

  1. 1

Begin at the Sheriff’s Inmate Search notice

Open Mohave County Inmate Search. Confirm the county’s current instructions instead of opening an old bookmarked search application.

  2. 2

Follow the Sheriff’s Press Release link

Select the link to Sheriff’s Office Press Releases. The release area contains embedded county-published material, so a normal web browser may be necessary to view it.

  3. 3

    Locate the relevant inmate list

Look for an inmate-list entry or document made available through the press-release area. Do not confuse a press release about one arrest investigation with the county’s published jail population list.

  4. 4

Check the document date before searching

Use the most relevant published list and note its timestamp. An older list is only a record of what appeared at that time. Publication frequency and availability can change.

  5. 5

Look for the individual’s legal name

Where the list is a searchable PDF, use the browser’s or PDF viewer’s Find function to search the surname. Compare the full name rather than relying on one common name.

  6. 6

Do not infer charges or guilt from a name alone

Some county-published inmate lists provide names without a full charge description, mugshot, bond amount or court disposition. Contact the Detention Facility for the custody question you actually need answered.

  7. 7

    Call for current information

For a person who may be in custody now, call 928-753-0759. The jail states that the public may call about inmate information or bonding at any hour, seven days a week.

  8. 8

    Check the court separately

For case filings, hearings or disposition, use the Arizona Judicial Branch Case Lookup or the proper Mohave County court office.

Useful example: a booking happened late at night.

Suppose someone was reportedly arrested near Kingman on Monday evening. A previously published jail list might not contain that booking, and a subsequent list may reflect additional processing or custody changes. For a time-sensitive answer, call the jail rather than assuming the older list proves that the person was never arrested.

What if the PDF does not display?

Return to the Sheriff’s press-release page, try a standard browser, or contact the Detention Facility. A document-viewer problem is not evidence that no one is in custody. Do not rely on a third-party copied roster as the official substitute.

Booking photos and criminal accusations

Mohave County Mugshots: Are Booking Photographs Publicly Available?

Mohave County’s current public inmate-search notice does not provide a searchable mugshot database. Its stated alternative is the Sheriff’s press-release area, which should not be assumed to publish photographs, charges and booking details for every person.

If you need an arrest photograph for a legitimate records purpose, determine which agency made the arrest and ask about the applicable public-records process. Release is subject to Arizona law, court rulings, privacy requirements and agency restrictions.

Sheriff’s Records Unit

Use the Sheriff’s Request for Reports procedure when seeking an available agency report. If your request specifically concerns photographs, describe that request and allow the agency to determine lawful disclosure.

Official Records Procedures
What a Mohave County arrest-related record can establish
Record Potential Use Important Limitation
Dated inmate list Indicates a name appeared on a particular county-published list. Does not independently establish current custody or final criminal disposition.
Booking photograph Image associated with an arrest or detention record when lawfully disclosed. Does not prove guilt or conviction.
Police arrest report Details of an incident investigated or documented by an agency. May contain allegations and information subject to redaction.
Bond information Current or reported release conditions. Can change after a judicial decision or additional hold.
Court docket Filed charges, hearing information and recorded outcomes. Online docket information can be incomplete or delayed.
Do not republish an uncertain mugshot match.

People can share names, charges can change, and cases can be dismissed or restricted. A private arrest site may not reflect those events. For a reliable legal conclusion, verify the individual’s identity and the court’s current case record.

05

Bail, bonds, holds and release

How To Check Mohave County Jail Bond and Release Information

Because the live public inmate search is disabled, the detention-center telephone is especially important for bond questions. The Sheriff’s Jail Detention page states that the public may call for inmate information or to arrange an eligible bond at any hour.

  1. 1

Verify the person is in Mohave County custody

Call 928-753-0759 and use the current custody-information or bond menu. Have the person’s full name and any known booking or court identifiers available.

  2. 2

Ask whether a bond has been set

Not every detainee is immediately eligible for release by posting money. A judge’s order, pending initial appearance, additional warrant or other legal hold may affect the available options.

  3. 3

Confirm the amount and acceptable payment method

Ask the jail exactly which payment options it currently accepts and where the payment must be completed. Do not assume the inmate commissary service is the correct way to pay bail.

  4. 4

Ask about additional holds and release conditions

A person may have more than one case, an out-of-county warrant, an extradition matter or another hold. Paying the amount connected to one case may not result in immediate release.

  5. 5

    Save official documentation

Retain the receipt, case identifiers and any paperwork supplied by the court, jail or authorized bonding company. Confirm the remaining release requirements before making travel arrangements.

  6. 6

    Confirm physical release separately

Payment acceptance does not by itself establish that a person has left custody. Jail processing and required court instructions must still be completed.

Beware of callers promising release in exchange for money.

The Mohave County Attorney’s Office has warned about scams in which callers pretend to be connected with criminal cases or diversion programs and demand payment. Verify any request independently using the Sheriff’s or court’s official published contact information. Do not send payment to an unknown personal account or caller.

Mohave County Jail Visitation Hours, NCIC Registration and Rules

Mohave County Jail offers both remote and on-site video visitation. The Sheriff’s current Visiting Rules page identifies NCIC Correctional Services as the provider for visitation, inmate telephones and tablets.

Open Mohave County Jail Visiting Rules. The county says visitation privileges and hours can change without advance notice.

  2. 2

    Register with NCIC Correctional Services

Use the NCIC account route provided by the Sheriff. One NCIC account supports inmate telephone, tablet and visitation services.

  3. 3

Choose on-site or remote video visitation

Remote visitation is generally offered every day between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. The county lists on-site visitation Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m.

  4. 4

Schedule at least 24 hours in advance

The official visiting policy requires advance scheduling through the provider. Select an available session based on the inmate’s housing and eligibility.

  5. 5

Review the identification and visit conditions

Follow all security, identity verification and visitor behavior rules shown by the jail and provider. The Sheriff’s notice states that on-site and remote visits are recorded and monitored.

  3. 3

    Use the correct facility locator

Enter facility locator 286401 when required by the service, then verify the inmate and detention facility before proceeding.

  4. 4

    Check the current transaction fee

The live provider system should show the amount charged and the inmate-account credit. The county does not publish a universal fixed service fee on its main Detention page.

  5. 5

    Keep payment confirmation

Save the date, amount, transaction number and provider receipt. Contact the appropriate payment support or the jail commissary department if a deposit does not appear.

Commissary and phone payments are separate.

TouchPay is identified for inmate funds. NCIC manages inmate communications. Funding the wrong type of account may not accomplish what you intended. Check whether you are paying for commissary, telephone or messaging before making the transaction.

How To Search Mohave County Criminal Court Records

Someone may have been arrested by a law-enforcement agency in Mohave County but have a case assigned to a Justice Court, municipal court or Superior Court. The jail list and the court’s official docket serve different purposes.

Arizona offers two useful statewide services: Public Access to Court Information for case lookup and eAccess for qualifying Superior Court documents.

Step-by-Step: Finding a Mohave County Criminal Case

  1. 1

Identify the person’s court or case number

If available, use the arrest paperwork, citation, charging document or jail information to identify the correct court. Do not assume every criminal matter is a Superior Court felony.

  2. 2

Open Arizona Public Access to Court Information

Use Arizona Judicial Branch Public Access. The service allows searches by name or case number for participating courts.

  3. 3

    Complete the site’s verification step

The public-access portal may require a verification word or image before searches can be submitted. This is part of the live application and is not a fee-based private search.

  4. 4

Choose the correct court where possible

Filter to the applicable Mohave County court if supported. Check the case number, date, party information and court details carefully.

  5. 5

For Superior Court documents, use eAccess

Visit Arizona eAccess, register as required and search the available criminal case documents.

  6. 6

    Review fees before buying documents

Arizona eAccess states that a document’s first-page preview is free and that the standard pay-as-you-go download charge is $10 per document. Subscription and certification options have separate pricing.

  7. 7

Contact the Clerk for certified records

If a document is missing or a certified copy is required, contact Mohave County Clerk of Superior Court at 928-753-0713.

Arizona Public Access is not the official court record.

The statewide service warns that its displayed information may be incomplete or delayed. It is a starting point for identifying a case, not a substitute for confirmation from the actual court. Court appearances and final dispositions should be verified with the appropriate Clerk.

Which Mohave Court Handles Which Type of Case?

Practical distinction between court types in Mohave County

    Identify the investigating agency

Determine whether the incident was documented by the Sheriff’s Office or a municipal police department such as Kingman, Lake Havasu City or Bullhead City Police.

  2. 2

Open the Sheriff’s official records page

Go to Sheriff Forms & Records. Locate the Request for Reports form.

Kingman, Lake Havasu City, Bullhead City and Mohave Valley Arrests

Mohave County covers a large portion of northwestern Arizona. A person may be arrested by a city police officer, a Sheriff’s deputy or another law-enforcement agency. The jail custody source and the original police report may belong to different agencies.

Where to request records for common Mohave County locations
Location Custody Verification Original Report / Court Route
Kingman Mohave County Jail in Kingman. Kingman Police if city police investigated; Sheriff’s Office for deputy reports; proper court for the case.
Lake Havasu City Confirm detention location with the arresting agency or Mohave County Jail. Lake Havasu City Police Records or the relevant Mohave court.
Bullhead City Confirm whether held by Mohave County or another authorized facility. Bullhead City Police Records, municipal/justice court or Superior Court.

Golden Valley / Dolan Springs Mohave County Jail if booked into county detention. Sheriff report or assigned justice/superior court.
Colorado City / Littlefield Confirm the actual jail and holding jurisdiction. Responsible northern Mohave law-enforcement agency and court.
Outside Arizona Check the state and county where detention actually occurred. A Mohave County inmate list does not cover every nearby Nevada, California or Utah jail.

Lake Havasu City Police Reports

Lake Havasu City Police Department has a dedicated Police Reports & Records Requests page. It provides electronic GovQA submission, mail and in-person request options.

Victims may have special rights to a report copy.

Both Lake Havasu City’s and Bullhead City’s official instructions describe eligible victims receiving one copy of a qualifying police report without charge. Identification, requester status and relevant statutory requirements still apply.

Kingman Police Department

Mohave County’s official legal-office directory identifies Kingman Police at 2730 East Andy Devine Avenue, Kingman, AZ, telephone 928-753-2191. If Kingman Police investigated the incident, contact that department for its report-request procedure rather than using a Sheriff’s report form for a different agency.

How To Verify a Possible Release

  1. 1

Check the date on the county-published list

A name on an old list does not establish continued incarceration.

  2. 2

    Call the county jail

Use 928-753-0759 and the Charges/Bonds/Release department for appropriate custody questions.

  3. 3

Check the court for release orders and case status

Use the relevant court docket or Clerk, especially if a release depends on a hearing or judicial order.

  4. 4

Use ADCRR if transferred to state prison

Open the state inmate data search when appropriate.

  5. 5

Ask about victim notifications if applicable

For an ongoing criminal case, contact Mohave County Victim/Witness Program rather than assuming a periodically published inmate list serves as an alert system.

For immediate danger, call 911.

Victim services and public inmate information are not replacements for emergency response. Mohave County also describes text-to-911 options for people who cannot safely make a voice call.

Mistakes that cause incorrect results

Common Mohave County Arrest Search Mistakes

  1. Expecting the old inmate-search form to work. The Sheriff has disabled the public interactive search and now points to its press-release area.
  2. Using an old PDF as a live jail roster. A published inmate list is a dated snapshot, not continuing proof that someone remains jailed.
  3. Assuming a jail list provides every mugshot. Publicly available list documents may contain names without photographs, charges or bond details.
  4. Confusing arrest with conviction. Confirm the criminal court disposition before treating any allegation as proven.
  5. Calling Sheriff’s headquarters instead of the detention center for current custody. Use 928-753-0759 for jail information and bond-related questions.
  6. Using outdated inmate-visitation providers. The Sheriff currently lists NCIC Correctional Services.
  7. Failing to schedule a visit 24 hours ahead. The current visiting rules require advance scheduling.
  8. Sending regular mail to Kingman when it belongs in Longview. Personal mail now uses the separate Texas scanning center.
  9. Sending original irreplaceable documents to the mail-scanning center. The Sheriff states processed correspondence is destroyed.
  10. Paying an inmate’s commissary account as though it were bail. TouchPay inmate deposits and judicial bond procedures are different purposes.
  11. Requesting a city police incident report from the wrong agency. Kingman, Lake Havasu and Bullhead City may have their own police records.
  12. Using Arizona eAccess for a Justice Court document. eAccess focuses on qualifying Superior Court records; limited-jurisdiction court documents have separate procedures.

Ten locally researched questions

Mohave County Recent Arrests — Frequently Asked Questions

1. Where can I find Mohave County recent arrests?

Mohave County Sheriff’s Office has disabled its former interactive inmate-search tool. The county now directs the public to inmate lists published through its Sheriff’s Office Press Release page at https://www.mohave.gov/departments/sheriff/press-release/. For current custody verification, call Mohave County Jail at 928-753-0759.

2. Why is the Mohave County inmate search not working?

The Sheriff’s official Inmate Search page says the tool has been turned off to comply with new legal requirements and recent court rulings. The county references the Brian Houston v. Maricopa County case and directs users to its press-release page for published inmate lists.

3. Can I search Mohave County jail inmates by name online?

There is no active interactive public inmate-search tool on the Sheriff’s official page. Where the county publishes a searchable inmate-list PDF, you may be able to locate a surname using your PDF viewer’s Find function. The list is dated and should not be used as real-time custody confirmation.

4. What is the Mohave County Jail address and phone number?

Mohave County Adult Detention Facility is located at 501 South Highway 66, Kingman, AZ 86401. The jail telephone number is 928-753-0759. The county says callers may obtain inmate information or address eligible bond matters 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

5. Where can I find Mohave County mugshots?

The Sheriff’s current inmate-list procedure is not a searchable mugshot database. If a booking photograph is needed for a legitimate purpose, contact the responsible law-enforcement agency about its public-records procedure and applicable disclosure restrictions. A mugshot does not prove guilt.

6. How can I check an inmate’s bond or release status in Mohave County?

Call Mohave County Adult Detention Facility at 928-753-0759 and follow the Charges/Bonds/Release menu, currently option 7. Ask about the current bond, accepted payment procedure and any other holds before making a payment.

7. What are Mohave County Jail visiting hours?

The Sheriff’s Visiting Rules page lists remote video visitation seven days a week from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on-site visitation Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Visits must be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance through NCIC Correctional Services.

8. Where do I send mail or money to a Mohave County inmate?

Ordinary personal mail goes to Mohave County Adult Detention Facility, P.O. Box 591, Longview, TX 75606, with the inmate name and name number. Legal and medical mail uses separate facility procedures. The Sheriff identifies TouchPay, facility locator 286401, for inmate-account deposits.

9. How do I find a Mohave County criminal court case?

Use Arizona’s Public Access to Court Information for participating court case lookups or eAccess for qualifying Superior Court documents. The Mohave County Clerk of Superior Court can assist with official copies and records at 928-753-0713.

10. How do I request a Mohave County Sheriff’s arrest report?

Open the Sheriff’s Forms & Records page at https://www.mohave.gov/departments/sheriff/forms-records/ and complete the Request for Reports form. The Sheriff publishes a $5 charge per report and requests a self-addressed stamped envelope. If another police agency handled the arrest, request its records directly.
