Plan for the release window
Normal property acceptance/release is listed from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday, excluding holidays. The inmate must first complete a release form.
The county warns that property may not be ready until 24–48 hours after the inmate completes the paperwork, and the release is active for five business days. Bring valid photo ID.
When mailing a money order or cashier’s check for an inmate account, the Sheriff’s Office says the envelope should contain only the money item. Ordinary correspondence addressed to an inmate follows the separate mail-scanning process.
